Clark's Discount Auto Parts Online Return Policy
Any parts purchased online from Clark's Discount Auto Parts can be returned for any reason within 30 days from the original date of purchase provided that the following guidelines are met.
1) The merchandise has not been installed, attempted to have been installed or damaged in any way.
2) The merchandise must be unused in its original packaging with all if its original contents and must be in resalable condition.
All approved returns under this general return policy are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Original shipping charges are non refundable.

All electrical parts … including but not limited to Starters & Alternators, Electric Fuel Pumps, Modules, Sensors and Switches. Special Order items, Custom or Cut to Size items such as hose are non returnable. Gasket sets are also non returnable once the have been opened.
All returns MUST have a RGN (Returned Goods Number) issued by Clark's Discount Auto Parts clearly written on the outside of the shipping box and shipped to our location (which may not be the same address as the item was shipped from). Returns may also be delivered in person.
Any parts purchased from Clark's Discount Auto Parts that have a core charge (deposit) may be returned for the deposit within 60 days of the original purchase date. Cores must be in rebuildable condition and in their original box or container. Cores that are bent, broken, disassembled , rusted beyond normal or missing parts will not be accepted for return. Cores must be identical to the new part that was purchased or no credit will be issued.
All core returns MUST have a RGN (Returned Goods Number) issued by Clark's Discount Auto Parts clearly written on the outside of the shipping box and shipped to our location (which may not be the same address as the item was shipped from).
Shipping charges for core returns are the responsibility of the customer. Core returns may also be delivered in person.
All of the items sold on the Clark's Discount Auto Parts website carry a 12 month manufacturers replacement warranty (no refunds will be issued for warranty items). If within one year from the date of purchase, the part no longer functions due to a manufacturers defect we will replace the part free of charge. (Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.) Parts that are damaged due to incorrect installation or mistreatment are not covered under this warranty.We are also not responsible for any labor expenses, towing expenses, or rental car expenses caused by the use of wrong or defective parts purchased from us.

Refunds for returns or cores normally process and credit within 15 days from the date we receive your return at the warehouse. All new returns and cores are subject to inspection - once the return has been approved and processed, the refund will be credited to the credit card you used to buy the merchandise (no exceptions will be made). Please be aware that your bank may take 4-7 business days to post the credit to your account or credit card from the time that we issue credit. If you do not receive a credit after 30 days, please e-mail our returns department or call us at 562-633-2527.
All orders are electronically processed and forwarded to the warehouse immediately upon confirmation of the order. Therefore, there is a very short time for order cancellations. If you wish to cancel an order, you must do so within TWO (2) HOURS OF RECEIVING YOUR ORDER CONFIRMATION EMAIL. No orders can be canceled after this time period as the order will be immediately processed for shipment. All orders placed from Friday 4:30PM PST to Monday 8:30 AM PST cannot be canceled, as these are processed over the weekend for shipment. To cancel an order you must call 562-633-2527.
New products purchased from our store are covered by a manufacturer warranty. Other than applicable manufacturer warranties, or as otherwise provided in these Terms & Conditions, there are no warranties, express or implied for any of our products, and we specifically disclaim any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose for tires, aftermarket wheels, and tire & aftermarket wheel packages.
For other parts, we provide a limited warranty of at least 12MTH / 12K MILES from the date received by the original purchaser or installer, unless otherwise specified, which covers the replacement of a defective part(s). The warranty applies only to parts replacement with same or better quaity. For such cases, a full refund will be issued to the original purchaser. A refund or an exchange of a defective part will be processed only if it is accompanied by the original sales invoice. All items must be in their original condition and must not be damaged due to incorrect installation upon return. The warranty is limited only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
All items are given a limited at least 12MTH / 12K MILES warranty period by the manufacturer. The manufacturer will allow the parts to be covered by their warranty provided that the part was not modified by the buyer.
Under NO circumstances will our liability exceed the amount of the original sale.
Products damaged as a result of abuse, misuse, improper repairs or maintenance, improper installation, alteration, or modification will not be covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover airfreight charges, labor expenses, towing expenses, or rental car expenses resulting from installation errors. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. We will not reimburse any return shipping charges incurred.
All returned items must have the RA (Return Authorization) number written outside the shipping box prior to return. The RA Numbers can be obtained by creating a return from within your account. Returned items without RA numbers will not be accepted.
Our liability does not cover lost or stolen packages mailed back by the customer containing the parts being claimed under warranty. Because the customer is the shipper, he/she is the only one who can file any lost claim with the shipping company. Therefore, the claim must be coordinated and processed through the shipping company by the customer.
